"An Ordinary Day" by Ercole Bonjean

 An Ordinary Day

A poor man knocked on a door, no one answered him.

A man asked a friend for help, he was not heard.

A dove asked for peace, it never returned to its nest.

A child asked for love, he received an iPhone as a gift.

It is December 25th, Christmas, an ordinary day.

A poor man knocked on a door, he was heard and helped.

A man asked a friend for help, he found answers to his whys.

A dove asked for peace, its wish was granted.

A child asked for love, he received an embrace.

It is December 25th, Christmas, an ordinary day.
